A Prestigious Award!

What a week! My hosting provider, Dreamhost , held a simple retro t-shirt design contest. They were looking for designs for the 60's, 70's, 80's, and 90's. The prize was lifetime free hosting!! Unlimited space, and bandwidth!! wow! Well, I submitted 3 variations on the same design, and low and behold. I won! I was notified that I was 'best in decade'. I'll never have to pay for hosting again. Hazzah! I'm pretty stoked about it. I wasn't even REALLY crazy about the design I submitted, but it was inspired by a recent party invite I got from a friend. Thought it was appropriate for this contest. In other news, I'm continuing my research to develop my online Director's presence. I seem to be getting more and more interest in my Directing. Dove's latest AI ad I worked on is getting noticed

The AI campaign for Dove that I Creative Directed and Directed by Juliana Curi was recently released. The campaign revolves around the bias found in generative AI models ( in this case Midjourney ) and how dove is infusing their own Dove bias into it. Pretty neat! The One That Got Away : Pitch Edition

GILLETTE SHAVES THE JUSTICE LEAGUE During the years, I have the opportunity to pitch on boards from Agencies and Brands all in the hopes they would like my take on their brief and award me to Direct. I've been very fortunate to have directed some great campaigns and spots over the years, but what is a shame is all the wonderful work that goes into some of the pitches that never get chosen. So here is one from several years ago I wanted to take out of the archives and share. I co-pitched this with my then-directing partner Alex Maxwell and the many great Mill artists and illustrators who helped us assemble the art in this deck.
