Overdue Update: What's new?

So as I poke around my website I realize that I haven't updated my NEWS in a long time. The short of it is, I'm still here, and been busy busy. All the A.I. doodles I've been playing with are on my Instagram if you're curious. When I'm inspired and busy Directing projects for the Mill, I often forget to update the ongoings as they occur. I will try to be better, if only so that I can keep a 'work log' of the time and place of the projects I'm having fun Directing. So as I collect those and update with proper show and tells, what I can share is some fun studies I've been doing in the generative AI spaces. Since we're going into Spooky Season I did a quick text-to-video study to just mark the occasion. You can see more of the generative AI studies on my Youtube channel here

Rebrand Under Construction

Remember back in the dawn of the internet when you would say a site is 'under construction'? It was how you would tell people that the site is being worked on and will be improved shortly. You don't really hear people saying that any longer. I wonder why. Well, I'm bringing it back. At least for now. www.kungfukoi.com has moved off Speakeasy, where it has been hosted since the dawn of time. To Dreamhost . ( unlimited space, bandwith for your life, only $6/mo! ) The entire site, galleries, and misc content are temporarily down, as I build a dynamic and super cool back-end for the site that hopefully will make updates and re-designs easier in the future. So for now.. I am keeping my contact info, and reel up.. you know, for self promotional puposes. However, I fully expect to have the new re-branding and site up in the next few weeks/months. The new site will also come with it some new features that I won't go into yet. However, I'm pretty excited

Violet: A Virtual Influencer Project

Full Article Here In 2019 I embarked on a project that was part social experiment, part real-time character and entirely unhinged! We set out to develop a virtual gamer that would stream on Twitch 3-4 hours a day for 4-5 days a week. We spent months designing, styling, and writing a backstory for a character that would be our first venture into the vTuber online vStreamer world. We landed funding that would support the project for two years! We were living the dream. Then the Pandemic lockdowns came. Our funding was pulled due to the uncertain climate of the time, and the entire project was stripped down to a skeleton crew and setup at the performer's parents house with spotty WiFi.
